Lemongrass and its Medicinal Benefits:

This is also known as citronella. Botanically it is called as cymbopogon ciatrus.
Medicinal properties of this herb are great. It has antifungal antibacterial activity. It can facilitate
to detoxify the liver, pancreas kidney, bladder and digestive system. It also contains analgesic/painkiller properties.
Lemongrass oil can relieve from headaches, muscle pain and joints. It is also used in treatment of patients having fever in ayurvedic treatment.
Lemongrass oily is available in the medicinal stores, in ayurvedic stores.
Now how do you prepare the lemongrass recipe?
Take 2-3 strands of lemongrass. Cut them into small pieces as to accommodate in tea dish. Add add about 1-cup of water and sugar as desired. Close the vessel and boil it 5 to 8 minutes. Filter it as we do it for coffee or tea and drink it. Repeat it 4 to 5 times.
